I thought about it long and hard and said what the heck let's take all the kids down to the boat races. Brennan is the only one that had ever been. People said we were crazy taking 6 kids to the land of absolute chaos. Well my work had a cool booth that provided all the food, drinks, and snow cones any kid would want. They also had a bounce house which of course the kids loved. The kids did great. I can not complain. We stayed 6 hours in the hot weather eating snow cones and drinking frozen lemonade (which the strawberry one was delish!) watching the air show and boat races and let the kids swim in the river between races. The kids had a great time and Brian and I did too. Who said taking 6 kids to the boat races was going to be hard. Not at all.
